ORX - Call transcript - Orexo AB Agreement with Publicis Touchpoint Solutions

Management states " Today is also the day when we announce the partnership with Publicis Touchpoint Solutions. It's a partnership that I am very proud of that we have closed something where we will have immediate access to a full infrastructure in the U.S., a fully dedicated commercial experts and personnel to work on the field. Touchpoint is a company that would come back to, but it's a company that has I think more than 2,000 people in the fields in the U.S. And I think Bob will talk a little more about some of the history of Touchpoint but it's a company that is working with most of the leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry. 

So I'm very proud that we found Touchpoint as a partner and we've done that in an very innovative structure where both companies will invest and take a share position in the success of itself going forward. And very important for us, company like Orexo taking this commercial venture is that with the partnership of Touchpoint we have limited our financial exposure for one of the larger cost items in a commercial launch and that's for the few force operations which would be taken by Touchpoint or -- where Orexo maintained all the rights to subsolve and I think that's very important for us when we aim at establishing commercial operations and hopefully future expansion of commercial operations in the US and maybe abroad."
